If you know me, you know I rarely - if ever - make anything more than 5 ingredients. So you know these have to be some bomb dot com cookies. Ok, I’ll admit it. I am unashamedly addicted to these cookies! They are a short bread consistency and super delicious cold or warm but are meant to serve up cold! Easy to whip up once you have all of the ingredients. I prefer to add a little more salt than the recipe calls for because I love a good sweet and salty cookie. They’re an awesome way to involve your mini into being in the kitchen with you and a great treat to beat the heat before back to school!

‘Freezer’ Cookies
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbs milk
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
4 cups all-purpose flour
1.5 cups milk chocolate chips
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• In a mixing bowl, mix together butter, sugar & brown sugar.
• Add egg, milk, oil and vanilla - mix until fluffy.
• Add cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and flour, mixing as you add.
• Add chocolate chips and mix by hand.
• Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Don’t skip this step!
• Drop spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet pans.
• Bake for 12 minutes
Makes 5-6 dozen. Store in freezer and eat cold!
